Types of glazing

Rack-mount and crossbar system. The most popular type of construction due to the ease of installation and variability of connections, which allows to achieve a completely unique look. The system consists of vertical racks with crossbars holding a double-glazed window. The supporting structure is hidden behind the glass; it is not visible from the outside. It has a wide scope of application: glazing of stained-glass windows, panoramic facades, conservatories, roofs, fire-prevention glazing and others;

Spider system. Externally, the facade looks solid, monolithic, the joints between the glass units are not visible. For the fastening of panels, special arachnoid fittings are used. Such a system is used in the design of stained-glass windows, entrance groups, peaks of the building;
frame system. This type looks very stylish and modern due to the thin aluminum frames into which the double-glazed windows are inserted for glazing the facades. This design has excellent insulating properties. It is used for both panoramic and modular glazing of facades, as well as interior glazing.
Of course, each of these systems has its own nuances and subspecies. The choice of a specific type of glazing occurs individually, together with the customer. The cost of the work primarily depends also on the type of structure, it is possible to calculate it only after contacting a ProSteklo specialist and a comprehensive assessment of the building.
